I LOVE Eye Designs Vision! Back around 2016 I wanted to find a place with a nice selection of frames. Some of the chain stores just weren't doing it for me. The selection at Eye Designs Vision is the best around. But I didn't expect to hit the jackpot also with my doctor! Dr. Valerie Potter is excellent - not only did I count on her thorough medical expertise, but she has a chairside manner that is hard to find these days. I would recommend Dr. Potter and the store without hesitation. (I have never seen the other doctor.)

I've been getting eye exams here for at least 5 years now and always leave feeling well taken care human-wise and technology-wise. There is no rush, everything is clearly explained, exam tools are modern, and the office setting is soothing. The exam fee without insurance is very fair, and there is no pressure to purchase glasses or contacts oil the spot or later. It simply all feels quality and what you deserve.

My optometrist of 20 years left the area so I need to find a new practice. I decided on Eye Designs Vision because of the education and background of the providers. It was easy to make and appointment and the location is convenient. I was greeted warmly and filled out the paperwork. I had some tests done in one room and then met with Dr. Potter. She was friendly and took care in explaining everything to me. She was positive and professional and I felt very comfortable with the exam and her recommendations. They had a wide selection of frames to choose from and the woman fitting the glasses was very helpful in picking out frames that worked with my face. I was offered a self pay discount which is always appreciated. If you are looking for a new optometrist, I highly recommend this practice.

Always a great appointment. They are very thorough during the visit, the office are polite, efficient and treat you with care. Valerie is caring and shows a real concern for my eyes. It's a very relaxing experience with my appointment. I highly recommend Eye Design.

I’ve been going to Eye design over 6-7 years. Their staff is always polite and well versed on all glasses & front desk always accommodating & so friendly. The 2 sister doctors both are top notch. I have glasses for everyday & separate for screen since I work from home & monitors are at more distant view than reading glasses & bifocals -the screen is still blurry. Regardless, this office is & has always been very caring towards their patients even sending you birthday cards year after year. They’re like family to me. Janette Kerr

Doctor made me feel calm and not rushed. Sometimes I get stressed during eye exams, and I'm one of those people that say "can I see that again" probably more than the average person (maybe?). She was super kind and patient. They have a great selection of designer glasses and offer a great deal, in my opinion, if you buy more than 1 pair of frames within a 30-day period. There were also a variety of price points on other frames with some affordable options available. The office is clean and modern. The staff has been very friendly and helpful everything I've been there. They even helped me pick out frames that looked good on my face and were honest in their feedback. I will be a returning patient.

I had a great experience. Dr Potter was wonderful and patiently listened to me and helped me understand everything. The eye exam was very thorough and again came with a lot of explanation. I'm really happy I went to Eye Designs!

My first appointment here and every expectation was exceeded. As a M.D. I appreciate quality care along with excellent service. You get both here. Every interaction with staff friendly and helpful. The office is professional but relaxed at the same time. Dr. Potter was thorough, efficient and very pleasant. Explained everything in detail. I asked for a detailed invoice and it was emailed to me before I got home. The office is clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a new office to provide your eye care, look no further. I highly recommend without reservation!

For the past eight years, I've entrusted my eye care to Dr. Victoria Melcher at Florida Eye Design. Despite the long drive from Palm Harbor, I wouldn't go to anyone else. Dr. Melcher and her team provide excellent service and care, and I always feel comfortable and valued as a patient. If you're looking for a skilled and compassionate eye doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Melcher and her practice.

They are thorough and professional. This is the best eye doctor. They don’t pressure to sell you things you don’t need. They take the time to make sure they have the best prescription for your eyes. I love that they spend as much time as needed in the room and it’s not a quick in and out. I’ve gone there for years and I love them. They have very accommodating appointment times and days for your schedule. The office is clean and modern.

Eye Designs Vision is owned by twin sisters. I have been a patient since 2014 and have seen both of them. They are very professional, knowledgeable and seem to really care about your eye health. The selection of glasses is exceptional for the whole family. I get both glasses and contacts there and have always had a perfect prescription. I highly recommend going to I designs vision for all your eye care needs. They go above and beyond!

The doctors are amazing, professional, friendly, and thoughtful. Unfortunately the staff is not. The last few times we’ve tried to purchase lenses and needed help they have been short, unfriendly, and overall not helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr Valerie Potter since 2006. She diagnosed my eye issue which required surgery to save my eye. She got me to a capable eye surgeon and when that was over in 2006 I returned to Dr Potter for my yearly exams and eyewear. She and her staff are capable, thorough, and kind. I always feel very comfortable and welcome.

Dr. Potter is truly awesome, as is her very friendly staff. Dr. Potter performed several examinations without me feeling rushed, with the results and options for glasses clearly explained. After the examinations Dr. Potter's staff member, Chris was just as helpful assisting me in choosing from the very large selection on display. This is a beautiful Drs office/store/boutique that I would highly recommend. Update to current date 02/07/2020: Is it ever fun to go to the Doctor's office? The answer now is absolutely YES! Dr. Potter is amazing, a truly excellent experience that I look forward to. She is extremely professional, very comprehensive and fun at the same time. 10 Stars!!!

I've been wearing Gas Permeable Contact Lenses for over 40 years. If you are looking for someone that can help you with contact lenses - Dr Potter at Eye Designs Vision is the one to "see". This was my first visit and I walked out with a huge smile on my face. The whole experience was pleasant, from the receptionist to the pre-exam testing to they eye exam. Dr. Potter actually took the time to listen to what I wanted and nothing was rushed. That's extremely rare these days, and not my experience elsewhere. Dr Potter's patience, attention to detail, and hand holding were second to none. I have an astigmatism and she made adjustments based on what I told her I wanted. I'm thankful that I chose Eye Designs Vision and had Dr. Potter as my OD. I'm a happy camper. Thank you all for such a great experience! I highly recommend Eye Designs Vision.

My family loves Eye Designs Vision. My husband and I predominantly see Dr Potter. She is one of the most caring doctors and you can tell she really wants to help your vision be as clear as it can get. (She takes a lot of time with me getting just the right contact lenses RX, because I like to see far and sharp!) She does a very thorough exam making sure the eyes are healthy. I feel like I’m visiting with an old friend when I go for my yearly eye exam. I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone to either Dr Potter or Dr Melcher.

This was my first time going to Eye Designs Vision, and I can't say enough great things about them! This was my first exam in over 7 years, so I was a bit nervous going in. The staff took care of anything I needed, they were kind, and really made me feel welcome. Dr. Potter was amazing! She was patient with me, and really took her time on my exam. Something you don't get at every place. I then spent probably an hour looking at the HUGE selection of frames, such a hard decision but with the staff's help I was able to get the perfect pair. I can't speak more highly of Dr. Potter and her amazing staff. Eye Designs Vision has a customer for life!

First time at Eye Designs for a eye exam.. I have to say It was a EXCELLENT experience. The Dr. was so patience and so informative and the staff to picking my eyewear was so helpful. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
